hahaha i cant really boast about crashing many times can i? hahahahahha
i guess i can't really describe the impact.. but really... the side vents above the ear.. is pretty much the archilles heel of this helmet...
just disappointed that after the $$$ spent, the helmet went off so easily... my 3 yr old fox flux and bell variant helmet lasted longer and had seen thru more endos than 2timer kaos... no offense but i will stick to flux..
mine cracked too easily.. the 2nd ever ride with it, I had a slip-up on a muddy patch while totally not moving,
side of helmet hit a tree and the sides broke, leaving me with 2 deep cuts from the helmet cracking. one 2 inch long vertical and one 1 inch horizontal cut like a cross shape at the sides of my face.
oh well...
the MRP cranks looks like the m760 shimano xt cranks though.. apart from being white..
Hey man, sorry for the late reply I weight 230lbs. therefore the fork needs to be able to take a beating. The WB fluid range is a little restrictive which is I can't tune the highspeed or low speed.
So because I can't control the bottom out threshhold with out pumpin too much air, I changed to 15wt fork oil and up the volume by 30ml. well, it has work beautifully since then. The internals showed very little signs of wear which means I have not properly broken in the fork yet after 30odd weekends of riding. done about 500km on it.
But that again I use the fork for everything. Stairs, FR, light DH, XC all on my one bike. its light enough to fling around. And strong enough with I would not say no flex, but i never felt it yet to be fair. I love the fork, its not the plushes, but it works beautifully. consistent strokes, does not blow thru the midstroke. the legs are a little soft metal but heck for the look, i would live with it.
